So what is #SewMyStyle I hear you ask?
It’s all about raising awareness about the slow fashion movement and about encouraging young women to take up sewing. We want to show you that sewing your own wardrobe isn’t an unachievable dream. So of course anyone can give it a go!
How Does it Work?
We’ll be sewing 12 garments in 12 months. We’ll post photos of our makes on Instagram on the last Sunday of every month. In the end, we’ll have a nice little capsule wardrobe of handmade clothes. Yay!!
A Lovely discount from Top Pattern Makers! OMG!!
Megan Nielsen Patterns, Named Clothing, By Hand London and Sew House 7 to offer no less than 20% discount (and often more) on all of the patterns we’ll be sewing. You’ll receive your discount code once you’ve signed up here.
To make the project achievable, the patterns that are chosen are a relaxed in fit and most are accompanied by instructions.
