Coming soon…The Creative Craft Show Glasgow 2021

Wow… Where do I start! It’s a jammed pack show coming to SEC, Glasgow.

There isn’t just the Creative Craft Show, the Crafts for Christmas taking place too, this means that with just one ticket you get two shows AND access to lots of festive workshops. This show is running from Thursday 14th October to Sunday 17th October 2021 at The Scottish Event Campus which is easily accessible by foot, bus, train or car.

Visitors to the show can dive in to knitting, sewing, felting, papercraft, calligraphy, stained glass, jewellery making plus update their supplies stash with the latest products and creations from the world of creative craft. There will be tons of Inspiration, ideas and tips from experts are also available with a range of workshops and demonstrations including:

Bex Raven

Bex works within the fields of craft, wellbeing and the environment to bring balance to both ourselves and the world. Starting with unique painted backgrounds, pieced together with vintage and dyed fabrics, she then secures the layers with a felting machine, followed by stitching and finally embellishing with found objects. 

Tina Francis

Hand stitch with a modern twist. Tina Francis brings fun, colour and design pizazz to stitch kits featuring bargello, tapestry needlepoint and canvas work. Author of the best selling book Modern Bargello.

Karl Macrae

Mixed media, design led, embroidery artist and teacher. Working with cotton thread, gold/silver/copper leaf, vintage papers, card and tissue paper.

Essential Info

Opening times for the show are;

Thursday to Saturday: 10am – 4.300pm. Sunday: 10am – 4.00pm.

Free on-site parking at the Westpoint Arena.

Prices for adults £11.

Children under the age of 5 go free.

To ensure visitor safety at the show, aisles will be wider to accommodate social distancing and floor markings and clear signage will be used throughout the show. My personal view

Throughout Covid, I have felt uneasy with socialising and attending places. Yet, with The Creative Craft Shows I feel quite happy to attend due to the above procedures they have put in place. If you do have any concerns, then feel free to get in touch with ICHF Events directly.
