Hey everyone! Does anyone else have any definite makes they want for the autumn/winter season?

I’m trying to be a bit more orgainsed and get some of my stash used and patterns that I’ve wanted to use but never got round to them! It’s like I get distracted by a new pattern or see someone on Insta with a new make and I go and make that instead

Franklin Pinafore by Lansdown Patterns

I’ve made this beauty of a pinafore last year and wore it to Knitting and Stitching show last year.

I love the tie details and the buttons at the back to cinch it it. I’ve got this black corduroy from Sewdoitemma destash which will be perfect for it and she even let me have a sewing pattern too.

Stephonoise Dress by Waves and Wild

As soon as this pattern was was released last month, I soon snapped it up as it isn’t just a dress, it can be a tee or peplum top and you can choose between half circle skirt or full circle skirt which both includes pockets! No dress isn’t complete without pockets in my opinion.

I’m a fan of Stranger Things and when I saw this inspired fabric on Knighton Fabrics Facebook page, it was a no brainer! So when this fabric arrived, I knew the Stephanotis was the perfect pattern.

Blog post for Felicity’s Fabrics

Now I can’t share with you details about this but all I can say is the fabric just sums me up to a T! I’m going for a cute top with interesting sleeve details. That’s all I can share for now, sorry!

Harlene Dungarees by Merchant and Mills for Pachoo Fabrics

I was kindly gifted this gorgeous box of goodies to make myself some dungarees which I haven’t made before, I like a challenge! Unfortunately, we’ve had some family emergencies to deal with but I’m hoping we are coming round the other side so I can get some sewing done!

I’ll be making the short version and wear with tights underneath as Laura aka The Specky Seamstress wear these will so much style all seasons, so I’m taking a leaf out of her book.

Fable Dress by Twig & Tale

Another beauty of a dress! Love the half placket design and pocket options. I’ve got this lovely floral cotton from Fabric Townhouse which would perfectly with this pattern. This pattern falls into the #SewingCPD2022 October challenge too

I am hoping by not setting myself too many projects that I can complete this with ease.

Happy Sewing!
