Hey everyone! Hope you’re well. Can you believe its February already?! That only means one thing that is happening soon…. Stitch Festival 2025! Woo-hoo! I’ll be attending this year with my mama on Saturday and Sunday, so hopefully see you there!
Here’s some information about this awesome event!
Upper Street Events (part of Immediate Media) launched The Stitch Festival in February 2020 at the Business Design Centre. Previously known as The Spring Knitting & Stitching Show, held at Olympia, London (the Spring version of The K&S Show in Alexandra Palace), The Stitch Festival now offers something a little different for the modern maker.
The Stitch Festival takes place in the heart of Islington, which is one of London’s most vibrant and diverse areas. Additionally, it serves the sewing community, as well as those interested in crochet, knitting, cross stitch, embroidery, and other contemporary crafts.
The Stitch Festival celebrates dressmaking in particular, with an emphasis on independent pattern brands and fabric designers, as well as an annual Dressmaking Competition with six different categories. Moreover, it’s not just about dressmaking! You’ll find yourself surrounded by colour and creativity, with everything from crochet and embroidery to macrame and cross stitch.

Stitch Stage
Playing host to free daily celebrity Q&As, talks from the experts, and demonstrations from your favourite brands, The Stitch Stage takes pride of place in the show and creates a buzz that will keep you smiling!
Last year’s incredible line-up featured demos from Jen Hogg of Jenerates, Kerry Lord of TOFT, Phoebe Jones (author of Made Weave Love), Paula Clark of Cocoon&Me, and many more!
The 2025 Stitch Stage line-up is set to be announced very soon, so stay tuned! Additionally, it can be shared that some familiar faces from the sewing community will be making an appearance.
